Terms of service

By creating a WeldTraveler account you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a company, you agree on its behalf.

The service

WeldTraveler is a record-keeping tool for welding and metal fabrication shops: the steps each job needs, who signed them off, holds, and inspection results. It is not a quality management system, does not certify welds, welders or procedures, and does not check that a job meets any code, drawing or customer requirement. Your shop remains responsible for its work, its inspections, its certifications, and the records its customers, codes or insurers require.

Your account

• Keep your password private. You're responsible for activity under your account.
• The shop owner controls team access and can disable users.
• Enter customer and drawing information only when your shop is allowed to store and share it.
• Do not attempt to break in, overload the service, or access another company's records.

Plans and billing

• Every new shop gets a 14-day free trial with no card. After it ends, records stay readable and exportable, but adding or changing them needs a plan.
• Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel through the Billing page. Paid features continue until the end of the paid period, and we do not give partial refunds.
• If a subscription lapses, records remain stored, but roles and limits above the lowest plan may stop working until the subscription is restored.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email.

Your data

Your company's records belong to your company. Jobs, holds and inspections can be exported as CSV. See the privacy policy for what we store.

Availability and liability

We work to keep WeldTraveler available but cannot promise uninterrupted service. The service is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the previous 12 months.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will email account admins about material changes. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
